Australian game retailers are getting ready for R18+ classification
Three Australian game retailers are readying to prepare their stores for the probability of having an R18+ classification in their country. The three retailers are Gametraders, EB Games, and GAMES.
In report from IGN, each of the stores says that they will be putting their games in the special part of the store. This area of the store must be restricted to gamers below 18 years old.
Their local video store is like color sectioning just like have a “red” and “blue” sections inside. The R18+ packages of the game will be displayed in blank cases so that pedantic shoppers will not shake up. Each of store chains is also showing their support for the rating with surveys, banners, and the mailings to the attorney’s office.
On the survey conducted earlier this week showed that only 11 persons out of the 1,084 processed submissions opposed the rating.
This is one of the developments and stepping stones for the game retailers in Australia. At least they are trying to go into mature responsibilities. Gaming needs proper guidance and not to poison the minds of the younger generations. Once it is restricted for age under 18, there must be a strict implementation of rules and regulations.
