Playing your PSP minis on a PS3
There has been a lot of hype with regards to the PSP minis because of the general fun the players have gotten from them. This is why Sony is extending their reach to other PlayStation players and made it possible that PSP minis can already be played on PS3’s. For your PSP minis to work on your PS3, you will need to have a firmware update 3.15. This update is actually an optional feature and Sony just inserted the feature in it.
This is basically pretty much like the first PlayStation which allows players to just buy 1 game which will be playable to all platforms. You will be able to access all the mini games from the PSP when you go to the PlayStation store and download your chosen file from the archived list.
There is only one setback with this announcement though and that is there is no specific release date for the firmware update but reports says that it will be out real soon. If it will not be released late this month, reports say that it will already be out early next year. This will certainly be something to look forward to for all PSP and PS3 fans.
