T2: to lay-off employees!
After being bombarded by so many questions as to what is the current status of their company and that if the downsizing plan was true, T2 finally broke the silence and shared their side of the story.
T2 has responded to all the anomalies being thrown at them and replied to all the reports that the lay-off will not affect other sectors of the company except the corporate level-the only sector to be downsized by the company.
Further, T2 denies that there is more downsizing being made on the studio-end. A representative of the company stated that as part of their company’s goal in maximizing the business’ efficiency, they have initiated a restructuring target with regards to their corporate departments only to align their resources better with their goals to obtain optimum results and full materialization of the plan.
They added that most of these changes are associated with the pending sale of their jack of all games distributing business. To clear out the issues, they are firmly stating that there are no reductions being made at the studio level.
Recently, reports were publicized stating that the company has laid-off 20% of the total workforce and that 200 people were to be sent home, including that of Rockstar UK.
