A lot has already been said about upcoming pseudo-MMOFPS MAG from Zipper Interactive but probably one of the most exciting of them all is the final count of the statistics that the game managed to acquire during their recent worldwide beta testing. From that group, there were an estimated 619,000 players who became Platoon Leaders, there were 3,181 who got the rank of Office in Charge, and there were just 143 players who managed to reach the level 60 cap.

For those who were really looking forward to playing Splinter Cell Conviction some time soon, we have sad news for you guys. Ubisoft has just recently announced that they are going to be holding back the release date for the game. Not only will Splinter Cell be getting a delay but so will R.U.S.E which is a double kill-joy really. We assumed that this was generally because of their recent fiscal quarter evaluation which basically laid out some positive spins on their poor sales, bullet points, and several data.

Now we think that we can all agree that having a fast paced game can be very exciting and thrilling but it would seem that the new hack of Modern Warfare 2 had transformed their players in The Flash. We would like to think that we are exaggerating on this but we really aren’t because players are practically speed skating the whole time they are playing. But every super power has to have its weakness and this hack has a major flaw in terms of the shooting capacity of the players. Since the players are moving at hyperspeed, it will practically make shooting people down nearly impossible to do. But it sure is a helluva lot of fun watching the reactions from people seeing you just skimming through the streets with all that speed.

There has already been a lot of talk with Mass Effect 2 and its accompanying attributes but the recent comment that we heard considering Mass Effect 2 as more of a film and less of a game really caught our attention. This rumor basically started when the Project Manager of Mass Effect announced that Mass Effect 3 is already under development and players will be seeing it real soon with all the short turnarounds that they have for the game. A few found this a little weird because the sequel to Mass Effect 1 was over 2 years before it popped, or will pop, into our hands. So this begs the question if BioWare is very confident with the current interest that the gaming population is showing to the sequel and/or the support that EA is giving them.

For those who don’t remember Matt Hazard, we really don’t blame you because the only famous game this guy ever had was not his own but it was a helluva good game though. So if you don’t know this game then this is the perfect time for you to learn because the newest addition to the franchise is going to arrive on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network really soon. The game is going to be titled Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond and looking at the title will clearly wipe out the pretense that this is going to be a cute game.

For all you Duke Nukem fans out there Finnish Studio HMC has got some good news for you because they have recently announced that they are currently making a fan film for the Duke Nukem Franchise. But we would not get our hopes up just yet because we are not entirely sure that this fan film will be getting to the end part. We are not even sure if some of the PSP and DS games are going to make it to the end either but that is an entirely different ball game. Furthermore, we got some information that this film is being developed by 3D realms but we have some doubts to this as well because even some of “their” PSP and DS games were not developed by them.
